GREATER ORLANDO AREA TRAIL SKATE 2010
WHEN is the Greater Orlando Area Trail Skate?
(Cyclists Welcome)
Thursday through Sunday, May 13 through 16
WHAT is the Greater Orlando Area Trail Skate?
The Greater Orlando Area Trail Skate is a gathering of skaters of all levels to sample the world-class paved trails in the
Central Florida area.  For 2010, we are also including the
Relay for Life of Tri County, Florida for a full 18 hours of skating.

The
Central Florida Trail Bladers & Bikers club invites you to join us for 4 fun-filled days on the West Orange, South Lake,
and Lake Minneola Trails and a fun all-nighter at the
Relay for Life of Tri County, FL.  Select the Schedule link above for
details.

As a skating and cycling club,
Central Florida Trail Bladers & Bikers invites all cyclists to join us for our trail skating events,
as well.  If you are a skater but have cyclists in your group, bring them along to join in the fun.

Be aware that there will be no SAG for this event.  We will have cell phone numbers available for participants and
recommend carrying a cell phone with you during each skating event.
EVENT PARTICIPATION WAIVER
Sorry, folks, but we live in a litigious society, ready to take from others whether others are at fault.  So, you must read and agree to the
following information to participate in this activity:

I HEREBY RELEASE, ACQUIT AND FOREVER DISCHARGE CENTRAL FLORIDA TRAIL BLADERS & BIKERS ("CFTB"), ITS MEMBERS, AGENTS,
REPRESENTATIVES, EMPLOYEES, SUCCESSORS, SPONSORS, AND ASSIGNS FROM ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES, ACTIONS, OR
CAUSES OF ACTION OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, AND ALL CLAIMS FOR DIRECT AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH MAY ARISE HEREAFTER,
DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY ATTRIBUTABLE TO ANY ACT OR OMISSION OF
CFTB, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES, INJURIES OR CAUSES OF
ACTION ARISING OUT OF MY PARTICIPATION IN ANY
CFTB-SPONSORED ACTIVITIES AND SPECIFICALLY TO INCLUDE ANY NEGLIGENCE ATTRIBUTABLE
TO
CFTB.

As a participant in the Greater Orlando Area Trail Skate Weekend ("GOATS"):
  • I understand that GOATS events are taking place on trails that are open to the general public.  I could use this trail on the same day and time, following
the same path as planned by CFTB.  Therefore, although CFTB is inviting skaters & cyclists to participate in an organized weekend of skating and cycling,
my participation takes on no greater meaning than if I had decided to skate or bike these trails on my own.
  • I understand that most outdoor and sports activities involve risks. I agree to assume all risks for myself and all guests I bring when participating in
    GOATS.
  • I understand GOATS involves physical activity that could be harmful to me or my guests if my guests or I have any known or unknown health conditions. I
agree that I and my guests will seek advice from a physician before participating in GOATS' events.
  • I do hereby absolve, release and waive any and all liability claims or demands against my fellow participants and CFTB, its organizers and assistant
organizers, officers, Board of Directors, leaders, and each and every member thereof, which may arise out of - or be related to - any injury, damage or
pecuniary/financial loss to me or my guests by reason of involvement in GOATS activities.
  • I understand that CFTB members (including organizers and assistant organizers) take and post photographs on their club website (http://www.meetup.
com/CFTB-US) and I authorize the use of photographs of me and my guests. CFTB will make every attempt to avoid taking photographs of members and
    guests upon request.
  • I understand that the GOATS Weekend logo at the top of this web site page is not meant to depict any of the participants in the event and any
resemblance to any participant is purely coincidental.
Please read the event participation waiver at the bottom of this page.
